A patch test is required for lash lifts, brow laminations, and tints. It should be done 24-48 hours prior to a tint or perming service to ensure you will not have an allergic reaction to the chemical being used. It involves applying a small amount of each product to the back of the ear, inner elbow, or temple area for up to 10 minutes. We then remove the products and observe over 48 hours. These chemicals can sometimes cause delayed reactions (up to 3/4 days). Although it's not ideal to make multiple trips to the suite, it is the only way to ensure you are unaffected by the product. If you refuse or are unable to participate in a patch test you will need to sign a waiver stating you understand you may have a reaction, and that Erika will not be held liable for reactions, doctor visits & bills, or refunds. If you experience a reaction please visit urgent care or your PCP. You may do a patch test during another service for convenience. Not recommended for those who are pregnant.

Option of tint or hybrid dye makes brows appear less sparse and bolder by applying a temporary dye that lasts on skin for 4-7 days and hairs for 2-4 weeks. It helps enhance the overall shape and color of your brows by darkening baby hairs and temporarily staining the skin. Allergic reactions to PPD are possible during this service - Patch Test recommended. Prior to service please refrain from using any acne topicals, exfoliating serums/retinols for 7 days as this can make you more susceptible to a reaction or skin lifting.
This service makes the brows appear thicker and fuller by applying a semi permanent dye that lasts on skin for 3-4 days and hairs for 4-6 weeks. Brow tints can help enhance, shape, and define your brows by darkening baby hairs and temporarily staining the skin. If you have previously had a negative reaction to hair dyes in the past, you could be susceptible to allergic reaction from this service. To avoid this, please book a patch test (free) at least 24-48 hours before your stain appointment.
